PSPL and REDD IC have jointly organized a national stakeholders consultation workshop for sharing on REDD+ Benefit Sharing Plan on 25th June, 2019

  National level workshop was organized to the national stakeholders to share consolidated and refined version of key elements of BSP including fund-flow institutional set-up and beneficiaries’ categorization and proportion of benefits distribution. The main idea of the workshop was to solicit the participants’ further suggestions and concerns over the BSP.

 The workshop was chaired by Dr. Sindhu P. Dhungana, joint secretary and spokesperson of MOFE and MS Radha Wagle, REDD IC chief has given welcome speech whereas Dr. Tek Maraseni (Team Leader) and Dr. Eak Bahadur Rana (Deputy Team Leader/REDD Expert) have presented main outcomes for further feedbacks and improvements. Participants from FECOFUN, ACOFUN, NEFIN, NIWF, DANAR, HIMAWANTI, Federation of Leasehold Forest Groups, MoF, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, National Natural Resource and Fiscal Commission took part in the workshop
